Andre Pierre Chatham

Andre' Pierre Chatham was born April 9, 1962 in Melrose Park, Illinois. He was born to the late James and Ruby Chatham. Andre' was the second of three children and wore the hat of both the big and little brother.

Andre' attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Melrose Park, Illinois from kindergarten to eighth grade. Andre' and his family moved to Downers Grove, Illinois where he attended Downers Grove North High School and graduated early.

Andre started working as a receiving supervisor at Red Line Health Care where he was responsible for inbound shipping orders and data entry. After working at Red Line for 10 years, Andre' went through a roofer's apprenticeship program and became a roofing journeyman. In 2002, Andre' transitioned career paths and started working as a forklift operator in the manufacturing industry; where he held various supervisory roles. Andre' was a very hard worker, Often being the first one to arrive and the last one to leave.

In 1987, Andre' married Kathy Wilbourn. To this union, they had one child, Ashley Christina. Ashley was the shining light in Andre's life. He adored her, and being her father was his greatest joy.

Andre had an infectious sense of humor. He loved to laugh, and make others laugh. He never took himself too seriously, and always tried to find humor in any situation.

Andre's mother Ruby, father James, and brother James Jr. preceded him in death.

Andre leaves behind to cherish his memory daughter Ashley (Jermal), Sister Paula Chatham, Sister-in-law Deon Chatham (Memphis, TN), niece Deonna Chatham (Memphis TN), two uncles Jack (Nettie) and Eddie Jimmerson (California), two aunts Mae Ella (Maurice Sr.) of (Houston Tx) and Belinda Jimmerson, Kathy Chatham the love of his life, as well as a host of family friends. He will truly be missed.
