Earlene was born on December 8, 1949 in Olive Branch, MS. She was the 9th of nineteen children born to the late Mr. Jessie Campbell, Sr. and Mrs. Felvia Briggs-Campbell.
Sis. Earlene Hale confessed hope in Christ in 1975. She was a woman of strong faith and worked diligently with the street ministry at Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral and worked on the usher board at Ivy Pentecostal Church of God In Christ. She was very generous, supported many charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Father Flanagan Boys Town for which she received a Certificate of Generosity, Feed the Children and many others, as well her support for individual families in need.
Sis. Earlene Hale believed in giving and sowing. Her message to her family was "sow a seed, so that you can be blessed, your children and your children's children." She sowed into many ministries of Christ financially as well as prayerfully.
She was united in holy matrimony to Nathaniel Hale in 1967 and married for 53 years. To their loving union were born nine children: Vincent Hale, Byron Hale*, Toney Hale, Audrey Hale, Derrick Hale, Stephon Hale, Jerrell Hale, Delano Hale and Marletha Hale.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jessie Campbell, Sr., Felvia Briggs-Campbell and step mother, Pearlene Campbell. Preceded also in death by siblings Thomas James Campbell, Charlie Earl Campbell, Carl Edward Campbell, Hosea Lee Campbell, Nannie Mae Johnson, Jessie Campbell Jr, Felvia Jean Hale and Pauline Campbell-Payne.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Nathaniel Hale; nine children: Vincent Hale (Caletha), Tony Hale, Audrey Hale-Leonard, Derrick Hale, Stephon Hale, Jerrell Hale, Delano Hale and Marletha Campbell; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; nine siblings: Lottie Mae Phipps (Leroy), Barbie Campbell-Hall (Bobby)* Carrie Freeman, Callie Brown, Jessie Bolds, James Campbell (Paula), Brad Campbell (Sylvia), Edward Campbell (Sondrea)*, Priscilla Avant (Antonio), Sabrina Campbell; five sisters-in-law, Mable Campbell (Jessie)*, Hattie Lee Sturgis (Roy)*, Willie Stein, Bobbie Jean Brown (Jessie)*, Delores Hale; Sis Brenda Hale; three brothers-in-law: Charles Hale, Calvin Hale and John Hale (Annette), and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
