I wanted to share the memory of how my parents first met...
My father was a manager at the Blackhawk, which was a restaurant in downtown Chicago.
My mother came in for lunch and for my father, it was love at first sight.
As she was leaving, my father said he couldn't let her go without saying something.
He ran after her, introduced himself and gave her his number.
They were together for over 40 years!!!
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
