Lorraine (Dire) Frederick

Lorraine Frederick, age 97, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Manzano Del Sol in Albuquerque New Mexico.

She was born on June 5, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Rose and George Dire.

Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper and secretary in downtown Chicago for many years. Her passion in life was dancing, which she danced ever so elegantly.

She met her companion Cass while dancing. They were together for 40 years, until he passed away in 2006.

She then moved to Albuquerque in 2007 to live with her daughter Julane. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.

She had a beautiful heart and soul. She is survived by her daughter Julane, 2 granddaughters Alison and Lori, Great granddaughter Jocelyn and Great grandson Xavier.
