Michelle Delettre Copeland-Massey

Michelle Delettre Copeland-Massey was born in Suffolk, Virginia to John and Mildred Copeland.

She later moved to Illinois, where she met the love of her life, Lauderdale “Mickey” Massey. Together, they built a life filled with love and family, raising two children, Delettre and Jonathan Massey. Today, Mickey and Michelle are reunited in heaven.

Professionally, Michelle spent many years working at the Sears Headquarters in Hoffman Estates. With a drive to grow and serve in new ways, she later pursued an education in medical billing and coding. She went on to work for Apria Healthcare before retiring.

Michelle was a faithful servant of God throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral and also attended God’s Heritage and Able Ministries. Her unwavering commitment to her faith reflected her deep and personal relationship with God—one that sustained her and inspired those around her.

Her legacy of love, faith, dedication, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
