Roberta Dailey Obituary

Roberta Marie Dailey (nee Rossi) died on November 1, 2024 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Bobbi was born to Mary Rossi (nee Congiardo) in Murphysboro, Illinois on July 25, 1942 and they moved to Chicago when she was a small child.

Bobbi is survived by her loving husband Timothy J. Dailey; Mother to her dogs Rockstar and Frankie and many wonderful dogs who came before;

Cousins and life-long friends Rose Marie Severino and Micki Silvestri; and a

multitude of in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and Bobbi's loyal and true friendships that have lasted since grammar school.

Bobbi's dream of going to Italy came true this summer with her cousin Micki!

Timothy J. Dailey would like to celebrate Bobbi's life and recognize her passing at the age of 81. Roberta was loved for her intelligence,

quick-witted humor, and tenacity. She was vivacious and extremely devoted to all in her orbit, particularly to her grand nieces

and nephews, whom she doted on and loved dearly.

Bobbi was known for her lipstick, signature homemade comfort food, and high standards when dining out. She enjoyed fashion, travel and

competing with friends in her bowling league, mahjong and canasta. Never without an opinion, Bobbi was a remarkable presence and force

whose strength was only matched by her heart. She was entirely unique, and will be deeply mourned and missed.

A special thank you to Terese Janik and Ashleigh St. Peter's. During Bobbi's hospitalization, they were the two pillars of strength to Bobbi and Timmy.

This Spring, Timothy J. Dailey and family will host the Celebration of Bobbi's Life and her Legacy of Love.

In honor of Bobbi and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Little Sisters of the Poor," 2325 N. Lakewood Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60614.
